Whether they're a travel starter or picking up a stick for the first time, Sixers meets every player where they are.

Already Plays Lacrosse

Sixes is fast, physical, and skill-forward, with more touches per minute than a full-field game. She plays both ends, gets more reps, and has to make quicker decisions in tighter space.

Brand New To The Game

Smaller field, simpler flow, subs on the fly, and fewer whistles to interrupt the action. Coaches rate experience ahead of time, so every player lands on a roster where they'll actually get to play.

The Format

How The League Runs

On the field
  • Everyone plays both ends; that means attack and defense; subs on the fly
  • Four 10-minute quarters, 2 min between, 4 min at the half
  • Draws only at quarter starts
  • 3-second rule enforced; no shooting space, dangerous shots still called
  • Quick restarts after scores
  • Certified officials every game

Team Drafts

Town coaches submit 1–5 ratings of players so teams balance fairly across the league. Players are then drafted to one of 6 teams.

Scheduling

Once teams are assigned in the portal, you will see who you get to play with, and against. Get your game schedule, RSVP to games and sign-up for free agency.

Play Sixes

Six Sunday nights of fast games, standings, medals, and a championship.

US Lacrosse membership

A valid US Lacrosse membership is required for every player and covers insurance for the season. Sign up at usalacrosse.com/membership.

Full refund on any cancellation before December 1.

Want To Play More Than One Game A Weekend?

Every player already has a team. Free agency just lets you opt in to play extra games when another team is short. A simple way for coaches to fill open roster spots, game by game.

For Players

Flag yourself as available for extra games in the player portal. When another team is short that week, you can get the call for a second or third game. More reps, more game time, on top of your own team’s schedule.

For Coaches

Short a player or two on game day? Pull from the free-agent pool to fill open spots for that game, so your squad always takes the field at full strength.
